DESCRIPTION:Season 4 League Dates:\nJuly 9th\nJuly 16th\nJuly 23rd\nJuly 30th\nAugust 6th\nAugust 13th\nFINALS: August 20th \nThe league will consist of 6 weeks where your best 4 weeks will count towards standings. The top 50% (rounded to the nearest 8) of players will qualify for finals. \n64 Player Limit! \nFinals Format:\nGroups of 4 players will be playing on 4 games. The top seed of each group will decide on the games they will be playing on or the order in which that player wants to play on the games. The games must consist of at least 2 classic games. Players may not pick the same game twice throughout playoffs. The scoring will be 7-5-3-1. Each groups 2 best players will move onto the next round. \nEvery player that plays at least 3 weeks will be qualified for world ranking points! \nCost:\n$60 for the whole season. $40 goes to Port City Pinball for the door fees\, $20 goes to cash prizes\, trophies and IFPA for ranking points. If you want to pay for each night individually it’s $15 per night with $10 to the house and $5 to prizes.\nTop 4 players will get cash prizes. \nSchedule:\nEach league night\, doors will open at 5:30pm and the league starts promptly at 6:30pm. This is different than our normal opening hour of 6pm. Feel free to come in early at 5:30. After league night is over\, you can stick around and play games until 11pm.

SUMMARY:Soft Opening Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the soft opening of Port City Pinball. We will be opening the doors at 10am and starting the tournament at 11am. This will be an IFPA sanctioned event and have a soft cap of 36 players. We will adjust things if more show up. \nFormat: It will be 12 rounds of matchplay with 7-5-3-1 scoring for 4 players and 7-4-1 for 3 players. For under 36 players\, it will rotate between modern games and classic games (pre-1990 or so). For over 36 players\, you will be assigned 2 games per round\, 1 classic and 1 modern (6 rounds total). Pairings will be random for round 1 and tiered swiss after that. Top 8 make finals. \nFinals: Top 8 will make playoffs. We will play out any significant ties for playoffs. Playoffs will be 2 rounds of 3 games each with 4-2-1-0 scoring. Top 2 from first round advance to finals. Top seed in each group has choice of games or position. You cannot pick the same game twice for the entire playoffs. \nStall ball: Once finals starts\, stick around for stall ball games. You can also play on non-playoff games. We will stay open until playoffs are done. \nParking: https://migrate.portcitypin.com/location/ \n$20 door fee. $20 tournament for prizes.\n$1.50 fee for credit card processing. \nBYOB (be responsible). \nSodas\, chips and water will be for sale for $1.
