SUMMARY:Port City Pinball League Season 8 - Week 1
DESCRIPTION:Every 2 months we will be hosting a league that lasts 6 weeks plus a finals. The format of the league night is 5 games of group match play. Each round you will be assigned into groups of 3 or 4 and a game will be assigned to your group. The scoring will be 7-5-3-1 on that game. \n\n\n\nThe league will consist of 6 weeks where your best 4 weeks will count towards standings. The top 50% (rounded to the nearest 4) of players will qualify for finals. \n\n\n\n64 Player Limit! \n\n\n\nFinals Format: Groups of 4 players will be playing on 4 games. The top seed of each group will decide on the games they will be playing on or the order in which that player wants to play on the games. The games must consist of at least 2 classic games. Players may not pick the same game twice throughout playoffs. The scoring will be 7-5-3-1. Each groups 2 best players will move onto the next round. \n\n\n\nEvery player that plays at least 3 weeks will be qualified for world ranking points! \n\n\n\nCost: $60 for the whole season. $40 goes to Port City Pinball for the door fees\, $20 goes to cash prizes\, trophies and IFPA for ranking points. If you want to pay for each night individually it’s $15 per night with $10 to the house and $5 to prizes. Top 4 players will get cash prizes. \n\n\n\nSchedule: New This Season Each league night\, doors will open at 6pm and the league starts promptly at 6:45pm. After league night is over\, you can stick around and play games until 11pm. \n\n\n\nSeason 8 League Dates:March 4thMarch 11thMarch 18thMarch 25thApril 1stApril 8th \nFINALS April 8th or April 15th (Depending on who can play when)

DESCRIPTION:Play for your chance to win a ticket to Pinburgh! We will be playing on banks of 3 games. Old-mid-new. 5 rounds of match play. Swiss tiered groups after round 1. 3-2-1-0 scoring. We will take up to 50% into the playoffs. Playoffs will be on the banks of 3. Playoff banks will include at least one game that was previously owned by the Replay Foundation. \nEverybody who plays will have a chance to win. If you already have a Pinburgh ticket or cannot attend\, you can request a $350 refund within 7 days of your winning the ticket. \n$30 to play in the tournament. Port City Pinball is fronting the money to pre-purchase the ticket which is almost double retail. $20 of the $30 will go to paying off the ticket. $10 will go to Port City Pinball for door fees plus IFPA fees. Once we have over 32 players\, a large portion of the following entry fees will go towards cash prizes instead. Player limit is set at 64 players. \nThe ticket will be raffled off. The better you play\, the more raffle tickets you receive. Just by showing up you get at least one raffle ticket. We will have other prizes to raffle as well as cash prizes for over 32 players.
